What We Build
- Hydraulic Hose Assemblies — Parker GlobalCore and mil-spec hose, crimped to exact length with swaged fittings for shipboard hydraulic systems.
- Air & Fluid Manifolds — Multi-port compressed air and fluid manifolds — aluminum, brass, or steel — with ball valves, quick-disconnects, cam-lock fittings, and NIBCO hardware, built to your port count, pressure rating, and deck layout.
- Large-Bore Hose Assemblies — Custom large-bore hose built to any length — including the massive coiled assemblies we fabricated for Norfolk Naval Shipyard to move river water on and off the ship.
- Custom Cut Hatch Seals — Precision-cut hatch seals in neoprene, EPDM, and closed-cell foam — cut to your exact hatch profile for watertight fit on naval and commercial vessels.
- Beveled Strip Rubber — Beveled and flat strip rubber cut to length for door seals, hatch gaskets, hull protection, and chafing gear — any durometer, any width.
- Mil-Spec Garlock Cut Gaskets — Custom cut gaskets from Garlock sheet stock — GYLON, Blue-Gard, and compressed fiber — to MIL-spec dimensions for flanged pipe connections, valves, and pressure systems aboard ship.
- Strip Rubber & Chafing Gear — Sheet rubber and strip rubber cut to spec for valve wrapping, hull protection, and blast-and-paint prep.

Aircraft Refueling Hose & Mil-Spec Hose Reels
B&B Hose is a certified aircraft refueling hose assembler — one of a small number of fabricators in Hampton Roads qualified to build and certify hose assemblies to aviation fueling standards. We supply and fabricate mil-spec refueling hose, hose reels, and associated fittings for US Navy, Air Force, and defense contractor fueling operations throughout the region.
- Certified Aircraft Refueling Hose — MIL-H-28759 and API 1529 compliant aviation fueling hose, crimped and certified in our Chesapeake shop. Built to exact length with swaged end fittings for aircraft refueling trucks, hydrant carts, and pit systems.
- Mil-Spec Hose Reels — Military-specification hose reels for fuel, hydraulic fluid, water, and air — spring-retractable and manual crank configurations. Supplied and mounted for vehicle, vessel, and fixed-station applications.
- Fueling Truck & Cart Assemblies — Complete hose and reel assemblies for military fueling trucks, R-11 refuelers, and aviation ground support equipment — built to spec, pressure tested, and delivered ready to install.
- Nozzles, Couplings & Adapters — Dry-break couplings, Bayloc nozzles, pressure-control valves, and cam-lock adapters compatible with military and commercial aviation fueling systems.

What We Do
- Ship Checks — We come aboard before or during a yard period to walk the vessel, identify worn or failing hose, and build a complete replacement list — so you're not chasing parts when the clock is running.
- Marine Valve Inspection — Our team inspects onboard pipe valves and fittings for wear, corrosion, and seal failure. We identify what needs replacing and supply the correct parts — ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, and associated fittings.
- Onboard Hose Surveys — Full hose surveys for bilge, fire suppression, hydraulic, and fuel systems. We document size, type, condition, and routing — and return with the assemblies ready to install.
- Emergency Field Repair — Hydraulic hose failure doesn't wait for business hours. Our mobile hose doctor responds to the yard or pier for emergency fabrication and installation.

Military & Naval Fire Protection
Mil-Spec Fire Hose & Fittings
B&B Hose supplies military-specification fire hose and compatible fittings for US Navy vessels, shipyards, and government facilities throughout Hampton Roads. We stock and fabricate to MIL-H specifications — the same orange woven-jacket hose you see racked aboard naval ships — and supply the brass and aluminum fittings, nozzles, and adapters that connect to shipboard fire stations.
- MIL-H-24606 Fire Hose — Orange woven-jacket fire hose built to Navy mil-spec for shipboard fire stations. Available in 1½" and 2½" diameters, cut to length and fitted to your spec.
- Brass & Aluminum Shipboard Fittings — NST (National Standard Thread) and NPSH couplings, reducers, and adapters in brass and aluminum — compatible with Navy fire station outlets and portable fire pumps.
- Fire Nozzles & Applicators — Fog nozzles, straight-stream nozzles, and combination applicators for shipboard and pier-side fire suppression. Aluminum and brass construction.
- Hose Rack & Storage Hardware — Hose racks, hangers, and storage brackets for organizing fire hose aboard ship or in shipyard facilities.
- Custom Assembly & Same-Day Delivery — We cut, couple, and pressure-test fire hose assemblies in our Chesapeake shop and deliver directly to the pier, dry dock, or shipyard gate — same day when you need it.
